I hope everyone (all four or five of you who actually read this fluff) had a good weekend. I'm still on the road and don't have the luxury of time to do any more of a post than I managed yesterday, so here's a photo of Wat Arun, the temple of dawn. It'll be a future topic so let's call this a preview and make it sound more worthwhile than it may be!
I'll do my best to be back with a proper post tomorrow. Have a great day... unless you've made other plans.
I dont know how many read your blog, but I do, and it's by far the best on Thailand. Keep it up please. I visit a couple times a year with my next trip scheduled for October and November.
Thank you, folks. I haven't put a visitor counter on the blog because so far I haven't found a free one that doesn't admit to collecting information on visitors - and I don't like that idea - so it's only by comments that I know that people stop by.
I'm sure a lot of Thaïland lovers (though maybe a little more on the 'gayish' side, to be fair) read this blog. I certainly hope so anyways, and I'm here about once a week to check and enjoy the last few posts : sometimes surprising, sometimes poetic, some other times dead hilarious, yet always heartful and compelling. Here's hoping long life to this blog which, if I understood correctly, comes from a gestation of quite a few years ... Kawp khun krab :)
Thank you, Dimi. I really do appreciate the comments and hope myself that I'll be able to keep up with this - although life's responsibilities don't allow me to post something daily that's as thoughtful as I'd like them to be.
And yes, although it does have a bit of a gay slant to it - as do I, being born as I was - it's my intent to keep it appropriate for all.
As the late Herb Caen once replied to me: Thank you for reading my stuff!

Btw, doesn't Blogspot offer you some basic statistics about the blog activity such as number of visitors during a day/month, etc. ?
This should be in the standard blog host service IMO... and I'd guess you have dozens of visitors each day ;-)
If Blogspot offers such numbers I haven't found them yet - which isn't all that surprising, I suppose. ;-)
Thank you for the suggestion - I'll look into it.
