The water was swift and unrelenting as it came ashore in Japan a few days ago, bringing with it the same chaos and tragedy it visited along the shores of Thailand and Indonesia in December of 2004; and again the death tolls continue to rise as the dazed and weary rescue teams work selflessly without rest, hour after hour. It's almost too much to comprehend once again.
Bao-Bao's Blog has regular readers throughout Japan, as well as those in many other countries who's lives have been touched on a personal level by this incredibly devastating series of events.
My heart goes out to them all.
May serenity, strength and hope be with them in the difficult days and weeks ahead.
