Night Photos, Part 12: Christmas At MBK Mall

Although Christmas isn't widely observed throughout Thailand, there's no avoiding it in shopping malls and many retail stores... and MBK (Mah Boon Krong) Mall is no exception. This image of the front corner (two images together) gives you some idea of how big the complex is.

There will be no post for Monday the 13th

Oooooooooh, my favourite place in Bangkok. I have a certain make of T shirt (not expensive) that I have been buying here for 3 years.

Also in the food court upstairs is a Middle Eastern place that has the best shawarma's. Last time I had to have 2 they are so yum.

Bobey's favourite is either the little stalls which sells wallets and one store I frequent on each trip for suitcases (Bobey) and handbags for the staff at work and my family. The woman who seems to be the manager calls me darling but then again she may call all farang darling?

Then of course, there is the 3rd floor which is all cell phones and that type of thing.

Mr M, Mr B and Mr K must be making a fortune in rental.

Cheers
Keith

I wonder if we've been eating at the same place in MBK? My friend said the owners of the sharwama place at the upper food court are Egyptian. I mentioned the place in the "Mah-s-a-a-a-g-e" post on the 7th and will look for pictures of the place - I think I have a couple. Maybe you and Bobey could ask since you'll be there ahead of me.

I certainly will ask. The guy is always really pleasant and he knows I love his product.

9 days to go yay!
